@econ_robinson Actually, I don’t believe that’s correct. I’ll have to go look it up. But as I recall, there WERE 300k Irish slaves in the 1600s. Not indentured servants. Those came later. And while that always sounds like they served tea (“servants”), note my earlier example: — PolitiTweet.org
