@justinejade30 @DrPJWilliams @Laiseran The Aramaic spoken today is not the same Aramaic that was spoken (and written) at the time of Jesus and the rabbis—though it is closely related. And I think only Jews ever used the Hebrew character set to write Aramaic. But @DrPJWilliams should correct me if I’m wrong on this. — PolitiTweet.org
