The important question is not whether they are bots--ie automated accounts--but whether they are participating in abusive information operations. A lot of bots are harmless--see @big_ben_clock, for example. A lot of people are vicious trolls. — PolitiTweet.org

@benjaminwittes I just find it hard to believe with today's technology, that there isn't some way to determine which accounts are bots.
