I think the moral about Beto and, to a lesser degree about Harris, is that handicapping a race in the spring of an odd-numbered year is foolhardy. Also, there is a major danger in peaking at the beginning: Beto with a $6-million day and Harris with 20,000-plus in Oakland. — PolitiTweet.org
