I recently heard an idea floated—by a conservative!—that would make serving as a poll worker compulsory, like jury duty. Not sure it's realistic. But can see the obvious benefit: immersive civics education for a public that's overwhelmingly ignorant of the way our elections run. — PolitiTweet.org
