For me, Plan A is a Trump/DeSantis ticket. Plan B is Trump steps aside before Iowa and taps DeSantis as his heir apparent. I love Trump but I don't think on his own the GOP Establishment will allow him to win the White House again. It will be 2020 all over again. — PolitiTweet.org

If a big field challenges Trump and Trump runs a pretty decent campaign, the not-Trump vote will be diluted and he can win with a plurality. If Trump takes the first 3 contests he'll be hard to beat. If he then taps DeDantis as VP it creates a powerful unity ticket. We win. — PolitiTweet.org
