It is said that suicide is a long-term solution to a short-term problem. #Lockdowns are a short-term solution to a long-term problem. Assuming pandemics re-visit seasonally at least 3 times and you can only afford to lockdown once, what do you do the 2nd and 3rd time? — PolitiTweet.org

While I appreciate Governors' concern for our health and safety, COVID-19 was statistically no more deadly than the flu, and perhaps less so. #Lockdowns are like paying a million dollars for a '72 Pinto. Sure it beats walking, but you still just paid a million bucks for a POS. — PolitiTweet.org

And neither has COVID-19. Seems you drank the Kool-aid. First if all, COVID-19 has been here since October. Second, they stopped counting flu deaths in early April so they could recode them as COVID-19 deaths. As Birx confessed, COVID-19 deaths are being "liberally" assigned. — PolitiTweet.org
