The premise (as dumb as it was) of lockdowns was to "flatten the curve" and not overwhelm the hospitals. We based this upon a model which overstated hospital use by a factor of 8. Ok, hospitals are fine. So fine they are going broke. So why are we still "flattening the curve?" — PolitiTweet.org

Statistically, COVID-19 has become the flu. Which is what I (and many like me) predicted from the start. We'll end up with millions infected and about a 0.1% mortality rate, just like the flu. Hardly a reason to wreck the economy, was it? — PolitiTweet.org
