Correct, from a mortality rate (CFR) perspective, the higher the RO the better because it increases the denominator, driving CFR down. Fauci already addresses this in a paper where he estimated COVID-19 to have a CFR of just .1%, similar to a bad flu season. — PolitiTweet.org

@mitchellvii CDC is now reporting a much higher RO (5.6), which if true.. even all the case fatality rate numbers are actually much lower...
