To me, the most encouraging statistics I am seeing is drops in hospitalizations. Unlike "deaths," this is a harder number to fake since it isn't subjective - either you're in the hospital or you aren't. Also it "flattens the curve" which was the whole premise of these lockdowns. — PolitiTweet.org
