China shipped 18 percent of its exports to the United States in 2018. That contributed to a $419 billion trade deficit. https://t.co/vXFB7F8GrD — PolitiTweet.org

By raising tariffs on Chinese exports, President Trump is completely disrupting their "One Belt, One Road" strategy to dominate Eurasia Commerce. Why? Because with tariffs, manufacturers will now leave China for cheaper no tariff locations, like Japan, Vietnam and South Korea. — PolitiTweet.org

A lot of China's "exports" are American products. We ship raw materials to China, they use cheap labor to build finished goods, then ship them back to us! Trump's tariffs disrupt that entire supply-chain making manufacturing in the US and non-tariff countries more appealing. — PolitiTweet.org
