@Dansrambles I don't disagree with this. But part of the negative critique of Fillmore is that he came from western New York, an epicenter of abolitionist sentiment. William Seward was from the region and Frederick Douglass long lived in Rochester. Didn't seem to have rubbed off on Fillmore. — PolitiTweet.org
