2/ More from this protester (he was in the Rotunda) "There was benches so I sat down. And I asked him (police) I said, you ever they ever had anything like this before in the Capitol. He says, 'We never had nothing like this in the United States. You know?'” - — PolitiTweet.org

1/ From my interviews with the protesters who *walked* into the Capitol “It was peaceful. I mean, we actually sat and talked to the guards or the police. And then we were there for about what, 45 minutes? And I asked him, I said, you care if I sit down? He said, go ahead." — PolitiTweet.org

I agree with this. People were allowed to file into the Capitol with backpacks. Stunning, considering what could have been taken into the building. On the same day protesters were allowed inside or forced their way in, two pipe bombs were detonated a block away. — PolitiTweet.org
