155/On July, 1945, XV HQ moved back to Germany in prep for deployment to Pacific Theatre in Sept. My grandfather was to stay in Europe w/HQ XXIII Corps & continue DP work. Pacific war ended & XV Corps was deactivated & sent to US. He was relieved of duty & started towards home. — PolitiTweet.org
