Usually courts will seek interest position of USG where case could impact foreign policy or USG interests. That happened in our Pan Am 103 case against Libya where we challenged Libyan sovereignty. USG filed in SUPPORT of Libya's position that sovereign immunity applied. — PolitiTweet.org
