The US intel claiming China might arm Russia had struck me as premature. I increasingly suspect that was the point. Like with revealing Ru war plans, likely meant to deter by clarifying the costs & unity of any response. Time will tell whether it’s enough but it’s pretty canny. — PolitiTweet.org
