@cptjtspaulding Imagine if the rule were otherwise. A party could withhold evidence, see if they win anyway, and then ask for a new trial if they lose. Heads I win, tails is a do-over. The rules usually discourage gamesmanship like that. Finality has value. — PolitiTweet.org
