You know what the first mission in The Witcher 3 is? A husband and wife on the run from a local liege are murdered in their homestead. He’s beaten to death and she’s beaten and hanged in a well. Not exactly pleasant. Gerald has to exorcise her spirit after uncovering the murders. — PolitiTweet.org

When I read/play/watch the Witcher I expect grimdark brutality, not feel good Joss Whedonisms and snarky Tony Stark clones of all shapes and sizes. The Witcher isn’t supposed to be whimsical. Never has been. — PolitiTweet.org

I don’t want to belabor the point but the Witcher is grim AF and having dumb characters throw Joss Whedonisms around on screen to sell Funko!Pops is not what the source material is like at all. — PolitiTweet.org
