I went to a state school that the taxpayers of Wis generously supported so it was inexpensive then and took out student loans for Georgetown law and did public defender work and could pay off..but back then,tuition was low and affordable w/loans and now private law schools are $$ — PolitiTweet.org

In general, I would rather hire a student who after HS joined the military or worked overseas and maybe learned another language or was an apprentice here in USA than someone who has 4 years of college burdened by debt;there is much to be said for ‘real life’ experience — PolitiTweet.org

@greta You can also be smart and hard working and have many degrees. And still have no college debt.
