@MiriamElder I think more should have been done (and should still be done) to evacuate people. But even the warnings, like the one the WSJ reported, was that Kabul could fall after August 31. If the Afghan govt was still in charge of Kabul today, and for the next two weeks, it would be better — PolitiTweet.org
