@LPDonovan @jonathanchait I think that’s right. I wasn’t trying to frame this in a negative way, tbh. I think McConnell’s tactical skills are in preventing compromise bills/big bills in general. But we’re also in an era where GOP leaders aren’t looking for those things, unlike NCLB, Medicare part d, etc — PolitiTweet.org
