@elonmusk Twitter already has this functionality at its disposal, that is how they pick up trends. It is the same word or phrase being used a lot. No, it is not only hashtags anymore either for many years now. This was left on the platform on purpose imo — PolitiTweet.org

Elon was on the right track in saying that a lot of the user base is bots and not active users, so I feel that @elonmusk should continue down this track and first focus on sorting out the bots which still influence the narrative and still scam people minute by minute. — PolitiTweet.org
