if someone has done wrong and wants to change, i don't feel comfortable making a spectacle of it, with public confessions, humiliations, etc. i think people are most able to change if they're afforded dignity and respect, not made to feel marked permanently by their wrongdoing — PolitiTweet.org

i don't have any real warrant for this and i'm not demanding anybody else abide by it, it's just how i feel and operate. i think about john 8 in these contexts - Jesus saying, "who here condemns you?" and the woman seeing that the Lord has driven away her accusers. — PolitiTweet.org
