no, feminism does not rest on making sure men are gentlemanly — and yes, making sure to be winsome in conversation (i.e., no interrupting, no tedious explaining) is just etiquette. i think good etiquette is important, but i don't consider the inculcation of manners good politics — PolitiTweet.org
