@normative @BrandiAtkinson this is a hobbyhorse but there were no abolitionists at the convention, there was likely no scenario in which enslaved people were not represented by some ratio, the ratio was not seriously disputed by either side, & the conflict was over inclusion of wealth into representation. — PolitiTweet.org
