@LeftHandStu @silkandstone if he had given that interview in 1987 i would say sure. but we do not actually know if his 2017 views reflect what he thought in 1984 or 1983 and the idea that an interpretation should be beholden to a decades later ex post facto statement is...interesting. but you do you! — PolitiTweet.org
