@rinanpakkala I wouldn't use the word odd. I would say non-binary strikes me as relatively complex, in that it's a rejection of a construct, thus requiring an understanding of what is being rejected to meaningfully grasp, and wonder if most 4 year olds have that foundation — PolitiTweet.org

@rinanpakkala Again, my instinct here is that to understand "non-binary" as it is used in our society requires first understanding the paradigm it is rejecting.
