I would certainly like to see the @ACLU defend a free speech culture as full-throatedly as it defends its other advocacy areas. Is its internal culture sufficiently supportive of free speech to do that? I'd like transparency on that point. — PolitiTweet.org

Growing up, I saw the @ACLU as a beacon of free speech, bravely standing up to the powerful. Now, on so many levels, I see them as a fraud.
