No surprise that I'm with @radleybalko here, in part because the private companies that supply red light cameras are often donors to politicians in the cities that adopt them, and I've seen the pressure to maximize revenue rather than public safety. — PolitiTweet.org

I do that think speed cameras are less prone to abuses, compared to cops, (and less prone to causing rear-end collisions due to mis-callibration) than red light cameras, though they can still be abused. — PolitiTweet.org
