@mattyglesias I don't think it's ideological hypocrisy or that one needs to adopt libertarian ideology to see forbidding someone access to a lifesaving vaccine during a pandemic as a serious infringement on liberty. @AnneCW @jahenderson0 @mattyglesias As I understand it the FDA's budget was much higher in 2019 than in 2000 and budget constraints played no role in the speed at which Covid vaccines were approved. However, if there's a more funding equals faster approval option I'm for it — PolitiTweet.org
