@mattyglesias Would you agree that Trump wasn't taken seriously enough and that the general atmosphere of incredulous mockery exacerbated that? I wouldn't go quite so far as your formulation... but if I had to run it again I would advise less mockery versus other strategies — PolitiTweet.org
