I would have no objection to a unit in American history in which students read a few essays from the project and a few essays critiquing it, curated by a neutral party. IMHO, there's a lot of good stuff in the project and a lot of flaws. — PolitiTweet.org

This is a question I wish I had time to investigate more: I want a granular understanding of what kids are taught. I can say that my 1980s Orange County Catholic education included reading Beloved and Fredrick Douglas and was unfriendly to Lost Causism, and I know in NYC — PolitiTweet.org
