In South Carolina for example, Obama led among black voters in mid December 07 by 25 points (https://t.co/raYF6qrt70). He had over 50% support. (2/?) — PolitiTweet.org

I may sound like a broken record, but of the following is true... black voters moved more toward Obama after he won Iowa in 08... but started out with a significantly higher base of black support than Booker or Harris... (1/?) — PolitiTweet.org

Another thing: There is a small black population in Iowa, but it's large enough for the entrance poll to capture it. Obama won that vote 72-16. So again, while it's clear that his Iowa win helped Obama with black voters, he was already doing quite well with them before hand. — PolitiTweet.org
