I believe this chart shows the Fed sucking up reserves via Reverse Repos. $2+ trillion in reserves banks deposit at the Fed. The Fed pays banks risk free interest on those short term deposits. So instead of the Fed's profits going to the US Treasury, they go to the banks. — PolitiTweet.org
