People forget that high inflation ended in 1983 only after Alaska Pipeline, Gulf of Mexico offshore oil and North Sea oil scaled up production. Lots of new oil production ended the high inflation 1970s and early 80s. It was other factors than just Paul Volcker & interest rates. — PolitiTweet.org
