@blightersort It used to be an actual destination — movie theater on bottom level, restaurants and indoor shopping. Book/comic stores where people would browse for a while. Closest thing you had to a mall downtown. The mall right outside DC (Pentagon City) is still very busy. — PolitiTweet.org
