"I'm going to take pride in my service, and then I'm going to talk to my family about what comes next." I'd expect some narrow Dem losers in NY to try again in 2024, with presidential turnout and a different set of issues. — PolitiTweet.org

There was some GOP hope, not reflected in polling, that the legacy of the 2020 covid rules would turn a lot of working class Dems into Rs. Just not seeing that tonight. If it doesn't show up 2 years later, why would it 4 years later? https://t.co/Zr6QNgnrQm — PolitiTweet.org

Dixon really went after Whitmer for saying the schools were only closed for three months. Wasn't true (there was another brief in-person suspension at start of 2020-21) but people were voting more than a year after normal schooling returned - just wasn't a motivating issue. — PolitiTweet.org
