It reminded me a little of the 2018 California races. The difference: National Dems took sides and spent to avoid lockouts. The similarity: Sleepy Democrats. Lots of CA races where the combined R primary vote dwarfed the combined D vote, but Dems showed up for the general. — PolitiTweet.org
