A few people are pointing out that last night's victory in Portland included respecting our client's pronouns. Remember that pronouns aren't preferred — when someone says their pronouns are they/them, that's not negotiable. Courts, like everyone, should respect our pronouns. — PolitiTweet.org

FWIW, the judge's opinion also uses the pronoun "they" to refer to one photographer plaintiff who prefers that.
