If you're a local elected official & dont show up to a regularly scheduled meeting you shouldn't be paid. Period. These guys in @BrownsburgIN get $13,000 a year to attend 22 meetings! Thats it! How easy a job is that? That's $591 a meeting! Taking it for not showing up is theft. — PolitiTweet.org
