On a side note, that 1984 campaign was the first time that I ever covered a presidential candidate's rally. When Mondale spoke in Ohio near where I was in school, I covered it for the college paper. It was pointed out to me today that that was 36 years ago. Which can’t be true. — PolitiTweet.org
