@thogge Crimea is majority Russian, wants to be part of Russia, and has been since 2014. Yet taking back Crimea is a Ukrainian war aim, as well as State Department policy. Russia will likely use nukes to defend it. So this doesn’t make sense on any level. — PolitiTweet.org
