Default app handling is hard and awkward in the best of cases, but Android and Windows do a decent job of it. — PolitiTweet.org

Lately I have found myself deleting iPad apps because clicking links and being sent to a subpar app is annoying. Safari is just better and more flexible than so many apps. Yesterday: Google Docs. Today will probably be the NYT app. — PolitiTweet.org

The way iPadOS and iOS handle default apps causes hassles beyond just not letting you use your preferred email app. Have to hope for each app’s own in-app settings (not in-settings settings, a whole other hassle) to give you the option to have links do what you want Madness! https://t.co/lN2DWV87dc — PolitiTweet.org
