Apple, of course, has not said whether or not it will ever support RCS on the iPhone. Google hasn't said what countries it'll light up for RCS next, nor given a timeline for when it will finish rolling it out — PolitiTweet.org

Carriers will still be able to provide RCS services to Android users directly. If they want to, Google will step back and let them. That could get messy, but we'll see. But Google seems to be taking a stronger, more opinionated stance on getting RCS rolled out — PolitiTweet.org
